She's overpowered

I have always admired Irish singer Roisin Murphy's quirky dress sense and strong look but never really thought the same of her music. I've changed my mind since buying her 2007 album "Overpowered". I'm now as much a fan of her music as her dress sense. The singer's personal style is mirrored in her music and I get the feeling her music videos allow her to take it even further. The singer's video clips feature Roisin (pronounced 'Rosheen') in her trademark elaborate outfits doing day to day things (may sound boring but it definitely isn't when you're wearing what she is!) and they give us a glimpse into the girl behind the star. Previously of Moloko fame Roisin has had personal success with "Overpowered", "You know me better" and "Let me know".

Looking at these photos I can't help but think that either Lady Gaga borrowed Roisin's stylist or the Gaga has been taking her cue from Roisin!
